Christian Perspective and Committment

"To love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength..."

Covenant Christian School embraces evangelical, protestant, reformation orthodoxy: the gospel of Jesus Christ, the authority of scripture, and the absolute sovereignty of God.  These theological commitments (also known as biblical or reformed Christianity) pervade the entire curriculum and provide the basic framework and motivation for all that takes place in all of our programs - academic, athletic, artistic and otherwise.  Covenant Christian School seeks to instill in its students a robust, systemic, and living faith that completes their education and makes clear the ultimate meaning and significance of what is being taught.

Every member of the board, faculty, and staff is required to demonstrate their own commitment to these basic truths and aims to embody them infectiously in their personal and professional practice.  An attitude of bold faithfulness prompts  them to engage and examine truth wherever it may be found in the light of scripture, and welcome among them students and families (of many creeds) who are willing to become part of a school community that combines both faith and learning in this unique and compelling manner.

Covenant Christian School is distinctive therefore in unashamedly placing its Christian commitments right at the core of its educational program.
