We believe that because we are a Christian school we have a greater responsibility to educate our students with excellence in all fields of academics.

Covenant Christian School has a foundational commitment to the God who has revealed himself throughout history and in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that “God so loved the world that he sent his Son” (John 3:16) into the world to be the Savior of mankind. This amazing grace of God requires a response of grateful obedience. We believe that Jesus Christ is the centerpiece of all human history and all of life should be lived with reference to his divine Lordship and rule. So, growing in our knowledge and love for God, learning how to embrace a life of service to our fellow man and growing in Christian character are all part of the core curriculum at CCS.

The "Power of Small"
Covenant Christian School has been serving families in Chula Vista and San Diego county for over three decades. One of the chief advantages that we offer is the power of the personal touch. We’ve excelled in educating children and adolescence because our approach has always harnessed the “power of small.” In our 33 year history our teacher to student ratio has never exceeded a 1:10 teacher to student approach. Our current 1:6 teacher to student ratio enables us to really know our students and how we can best enable them to thrive academically and in character development. The students that often “fall through the cracks” in a typical classroom of over 30 students in the public school system thrive at CCS! Time and time again we’ve had the unique privilege of coming alongside a child or teenager that has struggled academically and have watched them flourish as they’ve received the personal attention of a committed and caring teacher. Any child that attends CCS will benefit both academically and spiritually, but for some children our approach is non-negotiable to their success.
