How to Apply
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Step 1: SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED ADMISSION ITEMS.
The following items should be received by the CCS Office before the entrance test will be scheduled:
- Admission Application Form A: This form is to be completed by the parents/guardian of the prospective CCS student. Be sure to read carefully and sign the Parent's Pledge on the back of the form.
- Admission Application Form B: Parent Questionnaire. This form is to be completed by the parents/guardian of the prospective CCS student.
- Admission Application Form C: Academic Reference. The parent/guardian is responsible to get this form to the teacher, principal or counselor where the student is currently attending or more recently attended.
- Submit most current report card/transcript or a copy thereof, and current achievement test results. The parent/guardian is responsible to see that this information is received by the CCS Office.
Additional forms required for prospective CCS Junior High and Senior High students:
- Admission Application Form D: Student Questionnaire. This form is to be completed by the prospective junior or senior high student.
- Admission Application Form E: Pastoral Reference. The parent or prospective student is responsible to give a Reference Form E to a pastor or youth worker. The person completing the form is responsible to send it directly to the CCS Admissions Office.
Step 2: ENTRANCE TESTING
Entrance testing is scheduled by the Admissions Office as openings for new students are determined. Results and recommendation are communicated to parents at the interview. This fee is $80 and is non-refundable.
Step 3: INTERVIEW
Once there are openings for new students, the CCS Admissions Office will schedule interviews. Appointments will be made from the CCS prospective student list for applicants who have completed and submitted all the admission forms and submitted all additional items required (see above).
Step 4: FINALIZE ADMISSION
Once admission has been granted, the following must be done to finalize the admission process, thereby reserving a place for the new student on the roll for the appropriate CCS grade level:
- Payment of the Registration Fee ($325 total).
- Parent signs the official request for the student's cumulative records to be forwarded from the previous school.
TRANSFER STUDENTS. This item applies to first through twelfth grade students transferring to CCS.
- Filing a copy of the student's birth certificate.
- Completion of the Medical Treatment Form.
- Copy of immunization records turned in to office ( physical forms for a first grader are also required).
- Tuition Agreement signed and returned to the office
Step 5: BEFORE THE FIRST DAY
Parents must complete the following before the first day of school:
- Complete Tuition Agreement and payment of first month's tuition.
- Payment of Student Fees.
- Purchase school uniform. Refer to information provided.
- Procure student supplies. Refer to Student Supply List provided.
