Volunteer at CCS
At CCS we love to have parents and grandparents who volunteer! If you've ever thought about volunteering we're here to help you translate that interest into reality. Our job is to make it both simple and enjoyable to volunteer at Covenant.
Maybe you're one of those parents who hasn't yet discovered the joy of lending a hand at Covenant. The benefits of volunteering are many:
- Maximize Your Investment: As a parent, you're already making sacrifices to have your child at Covenant Christian School. Both you and your child will get more from your investment if you're involved.
- Build Relationships: Volunteering is a great way to get to know other parents, faculty, and staff-and to enjoy the benefits of them getting to know you.
- Get A Backstage Pass: Experience first-hand what it is that Makes Covenant tick, whether the day-to-day operations or special events.
- Make A Lasting Difference: By contributing your time and talents, you will help Covenant to realize its stated mission: "Covenant Christian School seeks to glorify God by equipping our students through academically challenging, Christ-centered education and Biblical character formation, for service to God and man in our ever-changing society."
- What needs to be done? At Covenant, there are one-time as well as ongoing opportunities to volunteer; such as coaching athletic teams, fundraisers, our annual golf marathon & fall auction, coordination special events, office work, classroom aides, chaperoning field trips, and welcoming new families to the school to name a few.
- Thank You! Thank you, parents and grandparents, for all you do to make Covenant a great place for all of our students. Be encouraged that your service, whether seen or unseen, is an answer to prayer and part of God's provision for Covenant, for the advancement of His Kingdom, and for each one of our children.
- Sign Me Up! There are two primary ways to express your interest in volunteering:
- Contact indicating your interests and availability to volunteer for school-wide needs.
- If you wish to assist in your child's classroom, you may contact the teacher directly to inquire about ways that you can help.
